The VERY Best Pork Roast

Pork Roast to Die for!

1, 2-3 lb pork roast tenderloin
1 tablespoon salt
1 talbespoon pepper
1/4 cup chicken stock, or water

Variations

  • for a mexican spiced pork roast add 2 teaspoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon cumin in the spice rub
  • For Italian add 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil
The trick to good pork is seasoning it correctly and letting it cook longer than you want to!

First season the tenderloin really well by rubbing the spices in to the meat. Then sear the meat in a very very hot pan. When all sides of the tenderloin are brown and crusty place inside a crock pot. Leaving the pan on the heat add the chicken stock to deglaze the pan and get all the wonderful goodies of flavor out of it. Then pour the remaining liquid over the roast. Cook the roast on the LOW setting for AT LEAST 8 hours. NO SOONER! By the eight hour it will be so good you will have to keep people from sneaking bites!!

ENJOY, its our favorite!
